Day 1 – Addis Ababa to Lalibela
In the morning, fly north from Addis Ababa to Lalibela. After arrival, transfer to your hotel. After lunch, visit the first group of Lalibela’s famous rock-hewn churches located north of the small stream known as the Jordan River. These churches were carved during the reign of King Lalibela and are now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 2 – Lalibela Churches & Ne’akuto Le’ab
After breakfast, take an excursion to the cave-built church of Ne’akuto Le’ab, famous for its ancient crosses, manuscripts, and religious icons. If the day is Saturday, you can also visit the lively weekly Lalibela market. After lunch, continue exploring the second and third groups of Lalibela churches, including the famous Biete Medhanealem, Biete Maryam, Biete Golgotha Mikael, Biete Maskal, Biete Denagel, Biete Giyorgis, Biete Amanuel, Biete Qeddus Merkoreos, Biete Abba Libanos, Biete Gabriel-Raphael, and Biete Lehem.

Day 3 – Lalibela to Addis Ababa
